“At the moment the popular styles that I have seen have a lot to do with emphasizing the hips and the shoulders - jumpers that emphasize the hips,” said Prosper. “They’ll be gathered on the hip area, or have extra pocket detailing that juts out to make it look like your hips are bigger than they actually are. Here people appreciate a woman’s hips, and the thickness of her hip area is considered to be nice.”
Prosper added that event organizers were inspired to create the event after both the rising successes of fashion weeks in Nigeria and South Africa as well as the fact that “countries within the continent are developing among industries like diamonds, gold, agriculture. Not only that, but the creativity of the people within the continent is also evolving.”

Few tips on kids fashion style.
Here are few ideas on how to make your lil'angel look like a Baby Phat, Calvin Klein or ----------- you fill in the name of designer you love best, an everyday put together look simple but same time rocking.
* First of all you have to help make your child be comfortable with dressing up and having he or she's hair styled. So to do this start early in age on your child's hair styling, encourage them to like it, tell them how pretty or handsome they look when they make their hair and how much you are proud of them and all..you know encouraging words ( Ginger them up..as we say in Naija). I would not encourage you buying a gift or toy every time, once in four times is just good. Because however u start with your child that's how its gonna be.
* You have to have a good eye for picking out key outfits for your child, when shopping concentrate on clothing that you can repeat without being obvious. Example: Leggings, tank tops, scarfs.
* Lastly get a lot of accessories, this will help you give your child's outfits different looks each time.

For me i see shapes and colors in every things around me even when it doesn't make sense i still do. Let me tell u a short story..true life, happened few days ago - " I went to the fiera de comida (food market) with a dear friend of mine to buy fish, cos am working on no beef and chicken thing just wanna live on only fish (which is not really working for me.lol!), so anyway walking in the lanes looking for the fish section in the market,.. just across from the fish shop there was this meat shop and on the glass shelf i noticed a dog, already killed, shaved and all...so i was like OMG! they sell dog meat here, my friend looked at me and said where? where? excited!...so i pointed to the dog in the shelf..she looked at me and asked again where??...i said, there still pointing, she looking at mi AGAIN! with this what the hell are you talking about look on her face.. so i got upset, moving closer the shelf i said look here its a dddddooo...oo...Oh no its a chicken!! hahahahaha! its was crazy man...hihihi. Well thats how bad my artistic eyes goes, sometimes makes sense and most times NOT".
